Responsibilities
As our Detail Laborer (TEMP) you will report to the Production Supervisor under our DF&H Division.
On a given day, you may:
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs, demonstrating necessary physical strength.
- Utilize computer skills to assist with various tasks.
- Follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of shop personnel.
- Perform grinding, polishing, and detailing of stainless steel tubing and structural steel.
- Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and grinders efficiently.
- Apply mechanical skills and demonstrate good problem-solving abilities.
- Exhibit good hand-eye coordination to ensure precision in tasks.
Requirements for the role:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver's License
- Prior work experience with mechanical tasks preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to properly handle tools and maintain safety around machinery
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong sense of urgency and cimmitment to quality
- Excellent verbal, written, and technical communication skills
- Dedication to safety in all job responsibilities
- Ability to foster and promote a positive work environment, demonstrating all JBT Marel values and leadership traits.
Travel & Location:
- Will be working onsite at the Kennesaw, GA location.
