Grow your career as Group Service Specialist within ALG Vacations. As a member of this team, you will focus on completing assigned work effectively and efficiently. This role requires team members to be detail oriented, great technology skills, truly enjoy customer service and have a strong understanding of Groups. This role is focused on handling Travel Advisor phone calls, chats, questions and requests such as adding inventory, releasing inventory, modifications and finalizations. This role will require communication with many teams throughout the organization and with suppliers and Travel Advisors. Strong Customer Service and problem-solving skills is essential. The role requires each team member to own cases and tasks and ensure as a POD, the work is being completed effectively and efficiently.
Essential Functions:
- Own & close cases and tasks and consistently meet KPI expectations.
- Strive to grow repeat business by building customer rapport and providing outstanding service
- Perform other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by leader. Helping with finalization and the phone queue if team members on other pods are out or during busy season.
- Rooming Lists and Final Countdown Letters and Assigning the Queue as Needed.
- Collaborate with other service team members and team leaders to meet team expectations and Provide suggestions for process improvements.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- High School Diploma/equivalent required.
- 2+ years of customer service experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of tools - Excel, Word, TEAMS & PowerPoint.
- Experience utilizing CRM tools to help manage business.
- Ability to work with team members in both an office & work at home environment.
- Maintain focus & energy in fast-paced group environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication.

The salary range for this position is $37,600-$43,680.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
