Information Operations/Operations Security PlannerThe Information Operations and Operations Security Planner reports to and receives work direction derivatives from the Project Manager. Assist and support the ability to conduct Information planning with the following capabilities: Psychological Operations (PSYOP) / Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Combat Camera (COMCAM), Civil Affairs (CA), Public Affairs (PA), Electronic Warfare (EW), OPSEC/Joint Military Deception, Cyber Electro-Magnetic Activities (CEMA), or Special Technical Operations (STO). The Information Operations and Operations Security Planner will perform the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide operational expertise through Information Environment analysis and recommendations to support integrated nonlethal targeting and information planning in the MARFORPAC area of responsibility.
- Support Information and OPSEC planning using various processes, to include the Joint Planning Process and Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP).
- Liaise with functional experts and planners to access open-source intelligence and publicly available information to examine, analyze, and recommend the most effective methods of operational support for military planning, integration, and coordination of joint U.S. and/or combined multi-national operations, actions, and activities. Research, analyze, and assess operational effects of the Information Operations program.
- Information planning subject matter experts (SME) will provide counsel, guidance, and aid in applying technical skills to operational and tactical planning/execution, identifying and tracking measures of performance (MOP) via measures of effectiveness (MOE).
- Support working groups and operational planning teams by providing timely flow of relevant information planning of daily reports, sharing, disseminating, and completing all assigned tasks.
- Attend the USINDOPACOM and MARFORPAC B2C2WGs, as directed, and provide subject matter expert (SME) mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment of information planning.
- Support Theater Security Cooperation and Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) events with allied and partner nations through the provision and integration of Information Operations concepts and capabilities.
- Conduct Information planning and coordination within the MARFORPAC staff and with higher headquarters, adjacent, subordinate commands, other direct reporting units, and multi-national units, to integrate, coordinate and synchronize planning and execution of IO core and related capabilities.
- Develop communication synchronization plans, coordinate, integrate, and de-conflict the effective use of information capabilities to support U.S. goals and objectives. The integration of these communication synchronization plans and analyses across INDOPACOM and component commands increases effectiveness and maximizes efficiency within the Information Environment.
- Integrate Information planning for Category III and IV exercises with real world effects of the following information capabilities, but not limited to: Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, Cyberspace Operations, Space Operations, Inform Operations, Influence Operations, Civil Affairs, Key Leader Engagements, OPSEC, and Deception Operations.
- Provide integrated planning and support to MAGTF operations in the IE through coordination and synchronization with the MIGs at the tactical level, and DC I at the service level to integrate information capabilities with other MAGTF capabilities and actions (e.g., fires and maneuver) to achieve mission objectives in and through IE.
- Assist the MARFORPAC OPSEC Program Manager with OPSEC subject matter expertise with functional area IG inspections of subordinate commands and external OPSEC surveys.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Viable candidates must have formal IO or Information related education and 7+ years of IO or Information related experience or a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of IO or Information related experience.
- Experience at a MARFOR and/or Combatant Command is desired.
- Experience with exercise design and exercise support.

- Proficient in computer applications such as Windows and MS Office
- Expected to perform independently and exercise good judgment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required.
- All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
- Active TS/SCI clearance15-25% travel expected.
- $130,000-$150,000
