We are looking for an experienced Quality professional who clearly will take the lead on driving organizational development towards a philosophy of continuous improvement. A proven track record of successful change management is an absolute requirement. Experience with utilizing the continuous improvement tools of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to bring improvements to management systems compliant to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is a must.
This role will have key leadership responsibilities for quality improvement initiatives that will include 6 Sigma development, project implementation and cultural change.
This role will lead the quality organization and its interaction with other company departments, suppliers and customers on matters related to materials, processes or products which impact product quality.
Work as a coach / mentor to develop less experienced quality staff
This role will devise statistical process control and implement systems for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data.
Establish the climate that encourages an open two-way channel of communication whereby employees exchange ideas / suggestions and share information.
This position is responsible for final implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
Education/Experience: 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality leadership role.
Expert knowledge in the use and application of key quality tools (DOE, SPC, FMEA, etc.)
Expert knowledge in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Ability to lead & implement ISO, 6 Sigma, & Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Bachelor's degree or technical degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience in the printing industry or color management.
Responsible for meeting customer / business needs as well as developing direct reports.
Tenacity and energy in leading change towards an effective work environment.
Results based style and skill set with strong impact and influencing skills.
Demonstrated ability to excel in all customer service areas.
Additional leadership experience in the areas of Operations or Manufacturing.
CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or ASQ certification a positive.
Background in Printing a Plus.
