The School of Management at Binghamton University, State University of New York, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in Business Analytics and Operations starting in mid-August 2020, subject to budgetary approval.
We seek candidates with strong commitment to high quality research and teaching in business analytics and operations management with interests in healthcare operations and related areas. Binghamton University has established a health science initiative to integrate cutting-edge basic, applied and translational research in health sciences and health care systems. Applicants with strong methodological training in analytics and mathematical modeling are particularly desirable. We support quality research with a teaching load of two courses per semester.
Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. in Operations Management or related fields by the start of the appointment (mid-August 2020). The ideal candidate will also contribute to the intellectual environment of the area. In addition, engagement in other service duties for the school and the college both internally and externally are expected.
