Description
1st Shift CNC operator
Candidates will be responsible for operating CNC Mill machinery to produce precision parts according to SOP's and blueprints. This role involves ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC mill machine including loading and unloading materials, installing tools, and configuring machine parameters.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Make necessary adjustments to machines and processes to correct defects and maintain high-quality output.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including materials used, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
- Report any significant deviations or defects to the supervisor and suggest improvements.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Continuous improvement highly encouraged
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining is preferred)
- Experience as a CNC Operator/machinist preferably with a focus on mills
- Experience with CNC set-up and software is a plus not required.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints/engineering drawings/SOP's
- Familiarity with measurement tools and quality control techniques
- Basic computer skills for programming and machine control
- Willing to train candidate that show initiative

Pay Details: $37,500.00 to $47,500.00 per year
