Come be part of our Food & Beverage team as the Temporary Food & Beverage Manager at Grand Hyatt DFW, conveniently located in Terminal D at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Grand Hyatt DFW features 315 luxurious guestrooms, award-winning dining outlets, and exceptional banquet and catering operations serving travelers and local guests alike.
This is a temporary, full-time management assignment scheduled to run from July 29 - September 12. This is an on-site property position and is part of the Global Hyatt Hotels Managed portfolio. Hotel accommodations and travel expenses will be provided for candidates residing outside of the DFW local market.
As the Temporary Food & Beverage Manager, you will assist in leading the daily operations of the hotel's Food & Beverage outlets while delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting Hyatt's commitment to care. Responsibilities include supervising colleagues, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining brand standards, assisting with scheduling and training, and partnering with culinary and hotel leadership to achieve service and financial goals. This is a highly visible leadership role that offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact during a busy operational period.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily leadership and operation of the hotel's Food & Beverage outlets.
- Supervise, coach, and develop colleagues to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Ensure Hyatt brand standards and operational procedures are consistently followed.
- Assist with colleague scheduling, training, performance coaching, and engagement.
- Partner with Culinary and hotel leadership to execute service standards and operational goals.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve service opportunities in a timely and professional manner.
- Support financial objectives through effective labor management, cost control, and operational efficiency.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and service-focused work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive hotel Food & Beverage experience.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in hotel restaurants, bars, banquets, or other Food & Beverage operations is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative abilities.
- Proficiency with general computer applications; experience with hotel systems is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Full-time management position requiring on-property presence throughout the temporary assignment.
